Replacing the old

This is the old one:



-been serving me for 2 years.

And this is the new one: Singer model 14N655.


I purposely bought the 4 threads overlock machine as it can sewn t-shirt finishing. The retail price is rm1345, but the generous seller gave me rm1200 instead. Since I have rm100 extra, I bought new table to put the machine together with my 7444.


The Butterfly is still in good condition, however the stitches are rough, which is in my opinion it looks ok if I just wanted to sew my own cloth but for selling purposes, it doesn’t look presentable.

Now, I wonder what I should do with the old machine. Whoever happen to read my blog and wanted to own the Butterfly overedge machine do drop me a line, I’ll gave it to you FOC in a condition, you come to my house and take it by yourself. :-)

I own bibles..

and love them to bits. Heheheh..

These are the bibles that I love to read every single day:

-a fundamental book on sewing which is essential for beginner


-a book that I refers on and on, on how to stitch collar, sleeves, and such. I learned to make the baju melayu cekak musang basically from this book.


-currently becoming my very best buddy since I'm hook with the hook.

Practicing to crochet

This is one of my raya activity. Since I'm off from the sewing machine, what I did was doing some crochet, just to refresh back my mind on how to do it.


Dont ask what I'm doing at the moment. The above knitting was just for fun.. hehehe.. And I love Ipoh very much. There's this one shop sells all sort of sewing thingy (like treads, buttons, zips, bla bla with such a cheap price). Since I'm still practicing my skill to crochet, the above treads plus the needle was bought for only RM5.

MIL sewing gadgets

I am at my in law house - still in raya mode (which I bet most of you has gone back to work). I would like to share to you my MIL sewing gadgets that Im totally impressed and envied.


She owned 2 sewing machines and a serger (Singer brand- all times favorite). However, envy not, she's indeed a tailor.

Crafting attempt

This would be my after raya projects: trying to do some quilts and with God will, I'm going to start knitting (crochet). I used to crochet when I was in secondary school - managed to make a table runner but tak tahula skill tu masih ada lagi atau sudah hilang.


Rotary cutter - rm30
Cutting mat - rm30
Crochet needles - rm1 each
Crochet yarns - rm7 each
- All of the above was bought in Ipoh, as i'm right now in my hometown for Aidilfitri celebration.

My junior in the making

I bought my DD a sewing machine (for kids- not the real one) and now she's enjoy playing with the machine while I sew with my 7444. A very good investment, I guess (because now I can sew without being pestered by her):-)

I bought another books

I am so addicted (and crazy). This time around, I bought at www.acmamall.com. Its a web that similar to amazon.com but you can pay in ringgit via Maybank2u. And their service is also good.

Utilizing time

Raya is really just around the corner. My 'to do list' still intact - tidak menunjukkan sebarang susutan. Thus, in order to utilizing time, I made the neck polar(s) during lunchour.



Uh.. I'm hoping to finish all by this weekend. Ameen..
